OVERVIEW: The Yacht Support Parts Specialist provides customer service and technical support for parts teams, service teams, sub-dealers and customers. This role ensures parts and service operations run efficiently, playing a key role in the overall experience and strengthening long-term relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the shared parts inbox and communication that meets our parts & service standards
  • Deliver exceptional service to parts, service, sub-dealers and customers.
  • Provide technical guidance, product knowledge, and follow-up support for parts inquiries.
  • Manage ordering, stocking, transferring, receiving, and inventory control functions.
  • Process and track special-order parts, invoices, and catalog updates with accuracy.
  • Maintain and update parts systems, records, and information-sharing platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping requirements, including hazardous goods documentation.
  • Collaborate with management to improve reporting, efficiency, and parts operations.
  • Support company initiatives including events, shows, and offsite projects, with occasional overnight travel.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with our parts teams, parts suppliers, service teams and manufacturer partners.
  • Provide regular feedback and proactive escalation reporting to the internal team for product and operational performance improvements.
  • Responsible for having a working knowledge of manufacturer warranty
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold company values in all interactions.
  • Perform operational assistance to the daily tasks of our national fixed operations team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 KEY SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google docs/calendars, and inventory/order management systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally; valid driver’s license required.

KEY RESULTS:

  • Deliver consistent communication, support, and follow-up to ensure our parts and service teams are successful and timely.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in parts ordering, inventory management, and system recordkeeping.
  • Provide timely processing and reliable coordination of special-order parts and shipping requirements.
  • Contribute valuable operational insights through regular internal feedback and reporting on needs trends.
