About The Role
We are involved in complex, global and high-profile litigation, arbitration and investigations combining end-to-end risk advisory, investigative and disputes expertise to deliver holistic solutions for our clients.
FTI Consulting Construction Solutions is a leading global provider of commercial management, risk-based advisory, dispute resolution services and strategic communications counsel on complex projects across all construction and engineering industries.
We are seeking professionals with experience in one or more of the following areas: claims and litigation advisory services, and dispute resolution, scheduling and schedule analysis, construction management, construction contracts administration, project controls advisory services, project management, construction cost estimating, capital budgeting, and construction contract auditing and/or project auditing.
What You’ll Do
A Consultant will be a part of a team to assist clients through complex issues as related to the construction industry. Services provided will include both project advisory support as well as dispute resolution related to large, complex construction projects.
Provide analysis and preparation of construction claims, CPM schedules and/or construction cost information
Perform dispute related analyses such as delay, impact, differing site conditions, cost and damage as well as lost productivity analyses
Prepare labor productivity studies
Perform detailed project and program reviews for large capital programs
Provide assistance of large capital projects and programs
Assist with corrective action plans related to the “recovery” of losses on large capital projects
How You’ll Grow
You’ll gain experience in communication and presentation skills
You’ll gain efficiencies in maintaining detailed working paper records of reflecting assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information employed during the performance of all tasks
You’ll be involved in presentations and quantitative exhibits for third parties to provide updates and/or present findings

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, and/or finance
1+ years experience in the construction industry or a related profession
Excellent communication (written and verbal), mathematical, and organizational skills
Proficient knowledge of PC environment and related software including Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel
This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in capital projects management, construction claims and critical path method (CPM) scheduling experience.
Experience working with Access, Primavera (P6), or other scheduling software
Experience with the use of PowerBi or other software related technology
