Hood Packaging is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Summerville, SC facility. This role is responsible for acting as a liaison between sales, customers, and manufacturing production by managing orders, coordinating communications, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Functional Responsibilities
Enter and manage customer orders, including clarifications and changes.
Communicate daily with customers regarding order updates, delivery schedules, and problem resolution.
Coordinate with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and other departments to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Maintain files, reports, and documentation while resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Perform general office duties and provide regular updates to customers and internal teams.
Support compliance with HACCP, GMPs, Work Instructions, and SQF requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED with three (3) to five (5) years of customer service experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, or
Associate degree in customer service or related field with one (1) to three (3) years of customer service experience in manufacturing.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong telephone and customer interaction skills.
Ability to work effectively, courteously, and diplomatically with diverse customers and internal teams.
Strong computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to prioritize, make sound decisions, and meet deadlines under pressure.
