About this role

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Zendesk Administrator to join our team in London. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our global Customer Care and Operations teams have the tools they need to succeed. This position requires a passion for creating, deploying, and monitoring world-class products that enable our teams to provide an exceptional experience for our customers and restaurant partners.

These are some of the key components to the position: 

  • Shape the Zendesk platform: Collaborate with our international teams to understand and address their specific needs, providing expert-level, hands-on support and solutions.

  • Drive process improvements: Proactively identify and implement solutions to optimize internal processes and improve reporting accuracy within Zendesk Support and Chat.

  • Support deployments and training: Participate in the deployment of Zendesk to new teams and assist in training new users. You will also create and maintain documentation on Zendesk configuration and processes.

  • Monitor and analyze usage: Track Zendesk adoption through qualitative and quantitative methods, gather user feedback, and publish regular reports to key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate on solutions: Work hand-in-hand with a core engineering team, Product Managers, and Technology Managers to develop and implement bespoke Zendesk solutions, including using third-party applications.

  • Assist with integrations: Provide support for other operational systems that are linked to Zendesk, such as Talkdesk and Salesforce.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Moderate to advanced Zendesk administrator and configuration experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Zendesk suite (Support, Messaging, Talk, Guide, Explore).

  • Highly organized and analytical with a strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger engineering team.

  • Proven ability to solve complex problems and use best practices to improve processes.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in spreadsheet tools, statistical analysis, and/or SQL.

  • Experience in documenting and understanding operational processes.
