Our Global Security team is looking for a Regional Security Manager with strong leadership experience, operational expertise, and a proactive approach to physical security. This individual will be the regional subject matter expert, driving the implementation of our security management program across a diverse operational footprint—including chemical facilities, supply chain operations, and remote work environments.

What You Will Do:
- Implement physical security strategies tailored to chemical facilities, supply chain operations, and remote workers.
- Manage Corporate Security Managers across the region and develop a network of local security coordinators.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Oversee access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter security systems across NA facilities.
- Support workplace violence prevention and remote worker safety protocols, including vehicle tracking and incident reporting.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support investigations into security incidents and ethics violations, and advise site leadership on dynamic threats.
- Deliver and adapt security awareness training for employees, contractors, and remote workers.
- Coordinate with the Global Physical Security Technology Manager on system upgrades and standardization.
- Oversee proprietary and contract guard services to ensure consistent and effective coverage.
- Collaborate on crisis response planning and drills with emergency response teams and GIS developers.
- Partners with SH&E, HR, facilities, and supply chain teams to align security with operational goals.
- Assist in developing and managing security budgets.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, business administration, or a related field. or 12 years of work experience
- 7 years of experience in physical security management, including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in security systems such as access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
- Travel: up to 50% across North America
- 7 years of experience leading cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships.
- Immigration sponsorship and relocation are not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP).
- Excellent communication skills, with 5 years of experience training staff and presenting to senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond effectively under pressure.
- Experience managing security for remote or mobile workforces.
- Familiarity with chemical industry-specific security challenges, including hazardous material handling and regulatory compliance.
