This position supports administrative and clinical personnel to achieve a goal of increasing quality and safety to reduce harm. Contributes to ARA’s breast imaging program by assisting with quality assurance and control efforts to ensure program compliance and a safe work environment. Roles and Responsibilities Supports Breast Imaging QA Coordinator with the organization's breast imaging program, including assistance with external client breast imaging programs. Maintains credentials and continuing education records for mammography technologists and physicists. Supports the Breast Imaging QA Coordinator in regulatory readiness for ARA, hospitals, and ASPs, including technologist and radiologist credentialing and pre-inspection site visits. Tracks and report breast imaging metrics such as callback rates and cancer detection rates; assist with physicist report maintenance. Manages physician requirements to include mammography read volumes (coordinates scheduling and overread assignments), and biopsy procedure count. Oversees weekly hospital reading monitor quality control. Desired Professional Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree (preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare with a focus on radiology. Experience supporting breast imaging programs and regulatory readiness (preferred). Complete Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training and certification within 1 year from starting job. Ability to deal efficiently & courteously with all teammates, physicians and patients Highly motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail Excellent time managing skills and able to multi-task Demonstrates ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal resultsDemonstrates appropriate customer service attitudes and services in a variety of work settings Knowledge of credentialing processes for clinical staff including technologists, radiologists, and physicists. Learn more by visiting us at ARA Diagnostic Imaging - Physician and Patient Services (ausrad.com).Radiology Partners is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer committed to providing equal opportunities in all our employment practices.
