Moss Adams (now Baker Tilly) is currently seeking SOC Compliance Staff.

SOC Compliance Staff perform SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOC 3 examinations, as well as consulting services for SOC examinations. You will gain knowledge about execution of SOC examinations and testing of internal controls, including concepts of cloud computing and Information Technology (IT) controls. 

In addition to the CPA, these team members may be asked to work toward the CISA, CISSP or CCAK.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire; Moss Adams (now Baker Tilly) will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, STEM OPT)
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree, with a preference for accounting majors
  • Ability to commute as needed throughout the region; to include Moss Adams’ (now Baker Tilly's) offices
  • Ability to travel to client locations, including overnight stays, with travel expectations varying by department and office location
  • Seasonal flexibility to work overtime or additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Major in Accounting or coursework in technology-related fields highly desirable
  • If an accounting major, meeting educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire, preferred
  • Reside within a commutable distance to a Moss Adams (now Baker Tilly) office and be willing to work on-site on a regular basis
  • Excellent customer service skills; Ability to understand own and others' emotions to achieve desired goals
  • Creative problem solving, critical thinking and reserach skills; Organize information and exercise well-reasoned judgment
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Demonstrate confidence in decision making and poise in a professional setting
  • Work effectively both as part of a team and independently 
  • Highly motivated and embrace challenges as an opportunity to grow
  • Quickly adapt to a changing work environment, including the use of software, systems, and technology 
  • Outstanding organization and project management skills; Take responsibility for quality and timeliness of projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
