Reports To: QA Lead
Summary/Objective
Aid in the Processing facility by working at various positions as a team member to make sure that food products comply with quality assurance, legality, and food safety requirements. This shall include at a minimum compliance to all Federal regulations, 3rd party auditing schemes, product specifications, and specific customer requirements.
Essential Functions
- Adhere to safety standards.
- Write and send emails.
- Communicate with fellow employees, QA Lead & Production Leads.
- Assist other team members in the completion of work.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Perform various clerical duties as assigned including customer computer data entry.
- Understand and Enforcement of HACCP & all cGMP’s.
- Basic knowledge of Production, Product Flow, and Product Styles.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Complete and document all required non-routine tasks for QA Department.
- Fill out the Notice of Unusual Occurrence and Corrective Action (NUOCA) form and inform the appropriate members of leadership of the incident.
- Operate a computer and related programs as needed.
- Perform basic math as part of daily duties.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
The worker is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions with infrequent exposure to out-side environmental conditions: Minimal exposure to weather conditions and frequent exposure to temperature changes. The worker will be exposed to a -20°F environment on occasion. The worker is subject to noise. The worker can be subject to cold and wet conditions.

This job involves medium work exerting force occasionally and frequently to move objects.
The worker will be required to have a range of motion as follows:
- Often requires walking, moving, or climbing to accomplish tasks.
- Often requires standing for sustained periods of time.
- Occasionally requires stooping and reaching.
- Occasionally requires pushing using upper extremities to press against something with steady force.
- Occasionally requires pulling using upper extremities to exert force to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
- Lifting is required on an occasional basis.
- The ability to use pallet jacks is required on an occasional basis.
- Often requires feeling of products perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
- Repetitive Motions are required, which involve substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full-time position work 5 days a week,
Expected Hours of Work: 8 hrs./day, 40 hrs./week. Start times vary. Overtime may be required on a regular basis.

Required Education and Experience
- Required to have basic knowledge of computer programs such as Excel, Word, and email.
- Be in good physical condition, enjoy indoor activities and be able to lift 30 lbs.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Possess fundamental mathematical skills (percentages, averages, subtracting tares, etc.).
- Must maintain a good attendance record.
- Must make decisions with minimal management available at that time.
