QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to communicate with supervisor.
2. Ability to use standard measuring tools.
3. Ability to work overtime when necessary.
4. A cooperative attitude and good interpersonal skills.
5. Commitment to LP 9000 and Continuous Improvement.
6. Good communication and clerical skills.
7. Computer knowledge and experience.
8. Possess previous knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
9. Must be able to write legibly and have good number skills.
10. Must be able to record necessary information accurately and completely.
11. Must have the physical ability to perform strenuous duties such as lifting, stretching, and bending.

PRIMARY DUTIES ARE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

1. Exemplify a cooperative attitude in order to work effectively with others.
2. Inspect and receive all merchandise and record all necessary information.
3. Stock all maintenance merchandise in assigned storage areas.
4. Log all receiving forms and turn in to office.
5. Maintain appropriate inventory levels for machinery parts. 
6. Update standard costs for machinery parts, to ensure proper inventory valuations.
7. Work on inventory parts control.
8. Record parts usage against appropriate machinery. 
9. Assist in compliance of all key controls.
10. Maintain the assigned work area in a clean and sanitary condition which includes wiping, mopping and scrap and trash removal.
11. Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
12. Be committed to LP 9000 and Continuous Improvement Process.
13. Follow all quality & safety requirements and procedures.
14. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity related to product, process, and the system.
15. Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system.
16. Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
17. Verify the implementation of solutions.
18. Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
