QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate with supervisor.
- Ability to use standard measuring tools.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary.
- A cooperative attitude and good interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to LP 9000 and Continuous Improvement.
- Good communication and clerical skills.
- Computer knowledge and experience.
- Possess previous knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Must be able to write legibly and have good number skills.
- Must be able to record necessary information accurately and completely.
- Must have the physical ability to perform strenuous duties such as lifting, stretching, and bending.
PRIMARY DUTIES ARE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
- Exemplify a cooperative attitude in order to work effectively with others.
- Inspect and receive all merchandise and record all necessary information.
- Stock all maintenance merchandise in assigned storage areas.
- Log all receiving forms and turn in to office.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels for machinery parts.
- Update standard costs for machinery parts, to ensure proper inventory valuations.
- Work on inventory parts control.
- Record parts usage against appropriate machinery.
- Assist in compliance of all key controls.
- Maintain the assigned work area in a clean and sanitary condition which includes wiping, mopping and scrap and trash removal.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
- Be committed to LP 9000 and Continuous Improvement Process.
- Follow all quality & safety requirements and procedures.
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity related to product, process, and the system.
- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
- Verify the implementation of solutions.
- Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
