Description
SUMMARY
Responsible for taking customer product from initial conception to finished product facilitating the entire process in collaboration with Sales and Marketing, R&D, Operations, Finance, Logistics and Quality departments. Coordinates with customers and commercialization team. This position reports directly to the Director of Commercialization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with potential customers and appropriate SKBC departments and employees.
Integrates and understands customers protocols for approval process and communicates needs to commercialization team.
Assigns customer support liaisons from the areas of Quality, Logistics, Purchasing and Operations to review and execute proper processes and policies.
Coordinates with Sales, Finance and Legal to execute nondisclosures and all contractual agreements with customers.
Provides a project update summary as required to the Director of Commercialization.
Responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects.
Responsible for assigning a project team, required resources, and setting a project budget to be held accountable to.
Food Safety
Responsible and required to notify management about actual or potential food safety issues; and empowered to act to resolve food safety issues within their scope of work. If this position is vacant for any significant period of time the obligation for completion of all food safety and quality related tasks will become the responsibility of the direct manager or a qualified designee.

Skills/ Knowledge:
Has acquired and applies all necessary advanced skills and knowledge for one or more processes or areas. May be a recognized expert in the areas to which assigned. Has a thorough understanding of the total process flow. Work requires meeting performance deadlines and being exact or highly accurate; requires face-to-face discussions with individuals or teams and working with others in a group or team requiring demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy. Completes objectives through supervisors or managers or senior level subject matter experts. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications
Computer Skills:
High degree of proficiency in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook, and internal software programs) with advanced presentation skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and databases. Smartsheets experience preferred.
Certificates and Licenses:
PMP Certification or other Project Manager certification preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field with 1-3+ years’ experience in project management.
