Role Description:
As a CDL Regional Driver for Red Baron Transportation based in Fort Wayne, IN, you will operate a day cab with an automatic transmission, transporting goods between Fort Wayne, IN, and either Delaware, OH, or Zanesville, OH. This home-daily position offers ample hours, allowing you to maximize your earning potential. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods, maintaining compliance with transportation regulations, and upholding the company's standards of professionalism. Our trucks are equipped with front-facing cameras to enhance safety and ensure compliance with road regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles.
- Adhere to assigned schedules and routes, ensuring timely completion.
- Utilize electronic devices for job-related tasks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, coworkers, and customers.
- Regularly sit and occasionally lift.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods between specified locations.
- Maintain compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Uphold the company's standards of professionalism and customer service.
- Manage logs and documentation accurately and efficiently, utilizing Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Class A driving or related roles.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail, adhering to schedules and delivery timelines.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to transportation regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Have experience with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Possess a positive attitude, adaptability, and a solid work ethic.
- Clean MVR and background, valid Medical Card.
- Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

- $24.00 to $26.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule:
