  • The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a performance bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Pay is based on location, experience, and qualifications etc.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide labor management strategies that balance service quality, profitability, and compliance.
  • Provide leadership to property-level labor teams and guide hotel GMs and Directors of Operations in labor cost optimization.
  • Integrate labor planning into long-term strategic and financial forecasts.

Multi-Property Oversight

  • Establish standardized labor models, scheduling practices, and productivity benchmarks across the portfolio.
  • Benchmark labor costs, productivity, and service delivery across properties to identify best practices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor labor performance at property and regional levels, escalating risks and opportunities to senior leadership.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Lead corporate reporting on labor productivity, efficiency ratios, and labor-to-revenue performance.
  • Partner with finance teams to build labor cost forecasts tied to occupancy, revenue, and operational demand.
  • Provide executive-level reporting to ownership groups, brand leadership, and the Board as required.

Leadership Development & Training

  • Mentor property-level Directors and GMs on effective labor management practices.
  • Deploy training programs to improve forecasting accuracy, scheduling efficiency, and workforce engagement.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality labor management, operations, or workforce strategy.
  • Proven track record managing labor productivity across multiple properties or a hotel group.
  • Deep knowledge of hospitality labor management systems (Unifocus preferred)
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret labor cost drivers and forecast trends.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and leadership skills at both property and corporate levels.
  • Extensive travel – 60%
