Job Summary:

The role of a Guest Service Associate (GSA) is to manage the flow of the guests in and out of the Center and assist with guest services as requested.  The GSA must represent European Wax Center in a professional and consistent manner while upholding the company's core values.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed.
  • Administer check-ins and check-outs.
  • Process guest payments, refunds, and appointment requests.
  • Organize the Reservation Book based on Guest requests and Associate availability
  • Responsible for educating all guests on benefits and savings of Wax Passes and consistency with waxing which will result in package sales.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures for the center.
  • Educate guests on current in-center promotions.
  • Arrive to work on time wearing the appropriate dress code and name tag.
  • Follow all corporate policies and procedures.
  • Participate in community events and street team marketing when requested.
  • Participate in all weekly Strut Sessions (If Strut Session is on a day associate is not scheduled, the associate will attend a minimum of 1 Strut Session per month).
  • Participate on The HUB by actively commenting on questions and posts.
  • Responsible for creating a memorable guest experience by utilizing EWC terminology and tailoring the scripts and standard responses while working in the location.
  • Maintains a safe, sparkling clean, organized and visually pleasant environment within lobby and restrooms

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years customer service experience or sales experience is preferred.
  • Certificate or diploma in hospitality advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Patience and good listening skills.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
