POSITION PURPOSE
We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead equipment and process initiatives while managing a team of Manufacturing Engineers. This role is pivotal in driving capital projects, improving equipment reliability, and implementing lean manufacturing practices, all while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and mentor Manufacturing Engineers I & II
 - Manage capital projects from concept to implementation
 - Troubleshoot and improve equipment (PLCs, HMIs, robotics)
 - Drive cost reduction, productivity, and ergonomic improvements
 - Support TPM, Kaizen, and machine ownership programs
 - Collaborate on SOP development and root cause analysis
 - Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
 - 10+ years in manufacturing or mechanical engineering
 - 5+ years managing engineering teams
 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
 - Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD/CAD software
 - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
 - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and professionally across teams and with external partners.
 - OSHA 30 certification preferred
 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Willingness to travel when required
 - Willingness to work some overtime hours or weekends as necessary to complete tasks or to communicate with our parent company Yamaha in Japan
