Partner with HR director to develop, implement, administer, and maintain benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensure programs are equitable, meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and are cost effective. Develops benefits communications and counsels’ employees on benefits related issues. Evaluate existing benefit programs against peer organizations to determine competitiveness, trends, and developments. Works with Human Resources director to develop strategic objectives for the benefits function. Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others.
