Summary

The ERP/Epicor Specialist ensures optimal performance of the ERP systems, working as a liaison with all departments to determine ERP needs, customized solutions, and integration of ERP technology with operations.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Project manage multiple projects requiring Epicor expertise.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Epicor ERP systems and processes.
  • Write and maintain documents related to systems design/customizations, implementation, and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and identifies improvements in business operation workflow as well as regular maintenance.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from key stakeholders, and assist in developing project plans and timelines to achieve successful implementation.
  • Design, build, and deliver data analysis tools to users (Kinetic and DOMO).
  • Guide internal and external resources through ERP implementation phases, evaluation, testing and optimization.
  • Configure, test, Validate, and implement ERP system changes.
  • Troubleshoot ERP-related issues.
  • Develop and provide ERP support and training to ERP end-users on an ongoing basis.
  • Actively monitor, troubleshoot, and correct user experience and performance related issues.
  • Analyze applications to find cause of error(s); document and revise programs to correct error(s); find and correct base issues.
  • Create or acquire test data and run tests to determine the accuracy of program logic to produce desired results; debug and revise programs based on test results.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy.
  • Suggest areas for potential improvement.
  • Work with all AMS locations to implement best practices and offer potential improvements.
  • Travel to AMS locations as needed approximately 25%.

Qualifications

  • 4+ Years of experience using EPICOR ERP.
  • Experience with EPICOR Kinetic.
  • Understanding of Business processes.
    • Quote to Cash.
    • Requisition to Payment.

 

Education and Experience

A bachelor's degree in business information systems or a related field desired, or an associate's degree in a relevant field with several years' experience.

 

Special Position Requirements:

  • Epicor ERP administration experience.
  • Use of ERP tools like DMT, SQL server, BAQ’s, and BPM’s.
  • Application implementation experience from development to deployment.
  • SSRS and Crystal Reports experience including report design.
  • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL server.
  • Working knowledge of Application Servers and Task Agents.
  • Strong DMT, BPM, BAQ, and Dashboard knowledge.
  • Use of ODBC links to pull data into MSOffice.

 

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Fluent in English

 

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to apply logical thinking to understanding operational definitions and procedures.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
