 Summary of Responsibilities:

The General Housekeeper provides a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the facility to ensure a healthy and attractive environment for residents and staff. The General Housekeeper is responsible for heavy housekeeping and maintenance of residential living (apartments, villas, cottages and vistas), Personal Care, Nursing Care, Core/Administration areas, as well as public areas, and common areas. Additional responsibilities include the setup and teardown of campus-wide events, moving of large items and performing light routine maintenance activities throughout the campus.

 Essential Functions/Duties:

• Adheres to proper and regulatory procedures for cleaning and sanitizing the facility, removing trash and recyclable items, collecting and emptying bins containing PHI protected by

Position Type/Expected House of Work:

• This is a full-time or part-time position, 2^nd shift hours. This position requires a rotating weekend schedule with every other Saturday and Sunday as part of the routine Days of work depend on scheduled days.  Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED (Required if working in Personal Care or Assisted Living Areas)
• 1-3 Years of experience working with Senior Adults or in a customer service setting (Preferred)
• 1-3 Years prior housekeeping experience (Preferred)
• Completion of the Highlands Hearthstone Ambassador training within 30 days of employment (Required)
