Springpoint Senior Living, Inc. is seeking an experienced Corporate Regional Nurse to join our team!
The Corporate Regional Nurse will oversee quality audits, education, and training while directly supporting clinical operations at Springpoint facilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and enhancing the quality of care provided in our assisted living, skilled nursing, and healthcare clinic facilities. As part of the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) team, the nurse will also contribute to developing and monitoring QAPI goals.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate facility compliance with current Federal, State, local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Complete regularly scheduled quality of care audits/inspections of the facilities to assure that care and services are being provided to meet or exceed resident needs.
- Participate in scheduled mock surveys.
- Complete clinical competency evaluations of staff in critical high-risk areas, including med pass observations, dressing changes, and hand washing. (List not inclusive).
- Serve as an interim Director of Nursing as directed by the Vice President of Health Services.
- Facilitate an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, positive emphasis, and a calm environment throughout the organization.
- Present a positive image of the company to all customers such as job applicants, residents, family members, and the general community.
- Coordinate with the current education platform, educate staff and department directors in the use of clinical policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations and guidelines, and clinical standards of practice.
- Monitor Infection Control techniques and practices, developing appropriate action plans as indicated.
- Monitor hospital rates and report trends and rates above state averages to the VP of Health Services.
- Assess and monitor compliance with the Dementia Program. Generate follow-up improvement plans as indicated.
- Coordinate annual QAPI plan with community’s QAPI Committees, attending monthly meetings.
- Provide a formal exit meeting with the Administrator, DON, CALA, or Assisted Living Coordinator, reviewing all findings and actions taken during site visits.
- Attend and participate in continuing educational programs designed to keep abreast of changes in the profession and maintain your license on a current status.
- Participate in the orientation of Health Care Administrators, Directors of Nursing, Assisted Living Coordinators, and Clinical Coordinators.
- Assists with investigations and chart reviews as requested.
- Reviews incident report documentation in assigned communities monitoring for quality of documentation, conclusions, and care planning that reflects risk reduction. Audit results are reported to the health services team for process improvement recommendations.
- Assist in managing potential risks and liabilities within the organization.
- Provide oversight to quality improvement initiatives and education programs; ensures maintenance of programs in accordance with prescribed quality standards; conducts data collection, reporting and monitoring for key performance measurement activities; and provides direction and implementation of best practices.
- Engage in collaboration between and within facilities in the effort to improve resident safety, clinical and quality outcomes.
- Oversee MDS coordination and compliance, ensuring accurate resident assessments while managing Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) and Quality Reporting Program (QRP) initiatives to optimize performance, quality outcomes, and regulatory adherence.
Education and Experience:
- BSN required.
- Must have at a minimum, two (2) years supervisory experience in a long-term care facility.
- Preferably a master’s degree in nursing, Health Care Administration or other related field

Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $165,000.00 / year
