The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of duties under the direct supervision of a Physician. This position involves both clinical and clerical duties including, but not limited to:  assisting Physician with patient care such as rooming the patient, obtaining vital signs, documenting reason for visit, assisting with procedures and in-office testing; clerical such as scheduling appointments, pre-certs for procedures and referrals. The CMA recognizes his or her role and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team working towards attaining Adams Memorial Health Network’s mission, vision, and values.     

Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!  

Requirements:

30 hours per week - First Shift

Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

CMA or RMA Certification

BLS/CPR Certification
