As an HR Coordinator – Talent Acquisition, you’ll play a vital role in supporting AET’s mission to attract, engage, and retain top talent. This is a hands-on, people-centered role that blends administrative precision with strategic coordination. You’ll work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and inclusive hiring experience—from job posting to onboarding. In addition to supporting day-to-day recruitment operations, you’ll take ownership of coordinating AET’s internship program, helping to shape the early career experience for future talent. This includes managing recruitment timelines, onboarding interns, organizing engagement activities, and gathering feedback to continuously improve the program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruitment efforts including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communications.
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to ensure timely and effective hiring processes.
- Full cycle recruitment and hiring for full-time, part-time & contract positions from sourcing, pre-screening, phone interviews, interview scheduling, hiring and onboarding.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics including offer letters, background checks, and orientation scheduling.
- Lead coordination of AET’s intern program, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement activities, and program evaluation.
- Assist with recruitment reporting, metrics, and process improvements.
- Help organize and participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and employer branding initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team and contribute to cross-functional HR projects.
- Keeps employee records up to date by processing new hires in a timely fashion within the HRIS.
- Processes all pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
- Prepares new-hire paperwork and facilitates a thorough orientation/onboarding process; enter employee information and changes in HRIS.
- Coordinates all pre-hire activities, such as drug screens, physicals, data verification, etc.
- Implements the onboarding and new-hire orientation programs.
- Assist in new employee/benefit orientation.
- Optimizing hiring processes to ensure recruitment and hiring processes are pushed through effectively and efficiently.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive information and documentation while maintaining privacy/confidentiality.
- Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
- Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
- Must be a team player along with the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of recruitment techniques.
- Actively participate in the recruitment efforts.
- Support the HR Department as needed.
- Help coordinate necessary data for internal and external audits, including those by government agencies, in partnership with broader HR team members.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence on training needs for the business.

Qualifications
- High school diploma required, and some college preferred with course work in human resources, business administration, or other related field.
- 1+ years experience in human resources or recruitment experience.
- Communicates effectively, action-oriented, accepts accountability and drives results.
- Work experience in human resources, recruiting, business administration or other related field in a high volume, fast-paced work environment while influencing others, applying sound judgment and non-bias to situations, and building relationships is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Proven, high quality customer relationship (internal and external) skills.
- 1-3 years of work experience in talent acquisition/recruiting.
- College degree in related field.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resources information systems (HRIS) preferred (ADP a plus)
Pay Transparency
Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $25.00- $29.00 hourly based on skill set and experience. The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Work Environment
This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This position will occasionally be required to operate in a field environment.
