About the Position
Old Mission Capital LLC is seeking an experienced, hands-on Datacenter Technician to join our Trading Infrastructure Team and support daily operations at our New Jersey datacenters. In this critical role, you'll ensure our datacenter infrastructure runs seamlessly, directly supporting our global trading operations. You'll be responsible for the full spectrum of datacenter operations, including installing, racking, and cabling equipment with precision while performing hardware maintenance and component replacements as needed. Your daily activities will involve managing support tickets, conducting diagnostic testing, and coordinating shipping, receiving, and returns. You'll collaborate directly with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless operations while maintaining the highest standards of datacenter performance that our global trading operations depend on.
Required Skills
- 1+ years of datacenter technician experience
- Proven experience in critical facilities with server racking and stacking
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and natural curiosity for problem-solving
- Working knowledge of cable components and infrastructure
- Working knowledge of server hardware
- Experience with optical cable testing equipment a plus
- Manage inventory and asset tracking
- Coordinate equipment shipping and receiving
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks (climbing, stooping, etc.)
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work Monday-Friday, 4PM-10PM, occasional Saturdays, and participate in emergency on-call rotation during market hours

Hourly Range
$35-40/hour - Hourly rate is based on numerous factors such as skills, experience, and education. Our compensation package also includes a comprehensive benefits program for full-time employees. For more information, reach out to your recruiter.
