The Oceanport Board of Education has a long term leave replacement position opening for an Self-Contained Special Education position effective 1/12/2026 - 6/24/2026: 

Required Certifications:

• NJ Teacher Certificate - Teacher of Students with Disabilities 

Successful Candidates Must Possess the Following:

• Strong content and curricular knowledge required 

• Ability to design effective lessons and modify those lessons to meet the needs of special education students

• Proven ability to work with related service providers, behavioral support teams, and the child study team to ensure success for the students

• Strong communication skills
