IT - Technician I chez Oak Ridge School District

Responsible for trouble shooting and support of student laptop computers, operating systems, applications software, and associated peripherals such as printers in a Windows 8.1 environment

Essential Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Oak Ridge Schools Policies and Procedures
• Communicate regularly with supervisor about workplace issues
• Consistently report to work on time prepared to perform job duties and responsibilities
• Provide help desk support for student users
• Provide technical assistance to end-users on hardware and software problems
• Issuing and documentation of replacement equipment
• Any other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications (minimum education, licensure, and/or experience):

• Minimum of High School Diploma
• Experience with repair services in an enterprise environment considered a plus
• Experience working with a ticketing system and completing work according to set schedules considered a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, customer service attitude and ability to work well with others
• Valid driver s license with good driving record
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software and configurations a plus
• Strong documentation and presentation skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
