As a Serum Work Area Senior Technical Specialist, you will provide cross-border technical support to our commercial and customer laboratories in LATAM. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Serum Work Area and Preanalytics analyzers. In this role, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of these disciplines to deliver the highest level of second level support, including implementation, preventative maintenance, and service training.

We are looking for someone eager to learn in a diverse environment, creating space for co-creation and focus on delivering the best service to our customers and patients.

About the opportunity: 

  • You will coordinate the technical installation of instruments, including site preparation, system testing, application of reagents, customer training, routine support, and handover.

  • You will lead comprehensive training sessions for internal staff, focusing on critical aspects of installation, maintenance, and service adjustments.

  • You will contribute to complex, cross country, cross-functional and global teams, taking a leading role when required and navigating complex situations by applying a diverse skill set.

  • You are responsible for training in Preanalytics analyzers, ensuring adherence to general GCS guidelines.

  • You will handle internal staff inquiries, resolving errors, complaints, and complex problems independently. You utilise digital service tools to effectively solve problems.

  • You provide  technical support to internal staff, addressing their queries and concerns.

  • You will ensure adherence to internal processes, and training/support concepts, while proactively introducing new ideas for optimization and engaging in knowledge transfer across stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality information management.

  • Finally, you propose and implement activities aligned with customer satisfaction surveys and ongoing customer and business area feedback.

What you Bring:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, etc). You have a strong knowledge of electronics & mechanicals, and have a deep interest in Application.

  • Fluency in Spanish  and English is mandatory. 

  • You are proficient in the medical/diagnostic market and have advanced knowledge in serum work area and preanalytics  instruments.

  • You have a strong knowledge of networks and equipment connectivity.

  • Excellent working approach with a strong customer focus and proficiency in building productive customer relationships within a complex matrix environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, reliability, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

  • Proficient/advanced problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong analytical approach, target-oriented, meticulous, and organised.

  • Availability to work in a hybrid model in São Paulo, Brazil (3 days per week in the office).

  • Availability to travel up to 30% of the time in Brazil/LATAM/EMEA.
