Communications Design Coordinator| Location: 11149 Research Blvd, Austin, Tx 78759|Department: Marketing| Employment Type: Full-Time| Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm

Austin Telco is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Communications Design Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will develop compelling visual content that communicates our brand’s message across digital and print platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, innovation, and impact in all communications. 

What You’ll Do:

• Design and execute visual concepts for digital and print materials.
• Create graphics, layouts, and illustrations for websites, social media, presentations, and more.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to maintain brand consistency.
• Conduct audience research to inform design strategies.
• Manage multiple design projects, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Support internal and external communication initiatives with design expertise.
• Present design proposals and gather stakeholder feedback.
• Coordinate with vendors for print production and other services.
• Ensure accessibility and compliance with brand and legal standards.
• Assist in planning and executing communication campaigns and events.
• Maintain a digital asset library for templates and resources.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Visual Arts, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in communications or graphic design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling and design skills.
• Experience in digital design, including web and social media graphics.
• Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Ability to simplify complex ideas into engaging visuals.
• Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects) is a bonus.
• High attention to detail and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in brand development and consistency.
• Up to date with current design trends and technologies.
