About the Role
As our Project Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and implementing infrastructure and process equipment that meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You’ll lead strategic initiatives that align with food quality certifications, optimize energy use, and drive continuous improvement across our facilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the design, development, and implementation of infrastructure and process equipment.
- Ensuring process capability and cost efficiency aligned with product specifications.
- Leading engineering projects that meet food quality certifying body requirements.
- Developing and executing a 3–5 year Long-Range Capital Plan for assigned facilities.
- Reporting regularly on project status and performance.
- Investigating major equipment and process failures and recommending solutions.
- Participating in cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement strategies.
- Supporting energy optimization and environmental control efforts.
- Traveling up to 50% to support projects at assigned facilities.

What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a proactive and hands-on engineer who’s brings an action and results oriented approach to project engineering management.
You’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred or 12+ years of directly related equivalent work experience.
- Food, beverage or CPG industry experience is required.
- Proven experience in cradle-to-grave infrastructure management.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing multimillion dollar capital projects from inception to completion.
- Multi-site experience is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, analytical, planning, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and strong ability to influence and collaborate with employees, leadership, and external vendors.
- A self-starter mindset with high level of personal accountability and ownership.
