PATH Therapist chez George Junior Republic

George Junior Republic in Indiana seeks a community-based Therapist for the new grant-funded Pre-Adjudicated and Truancy Help (PATH) program. This is a two-year program funded by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.

Summary of the position: The PATH Therapist is responsible for providing home-based and community-based quality services for youth and families involved with the PATH program. 

PATH Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Home-based support and Therapy
2. Compliance to organizational, program, and grant standards
3. Documentation of services delivered in a timely manner
4. Follow NASW Code of Ethics
   
5. Goal planning and mentoring
6. Provide diagnostic assessments and individualized service plans
7. Complete program required assessments
8. Build rapport with clients, families, and stakeholders
9. Balance administrative duties with clinical duties with minimal support from supervisor
10. Maintain confidentiality
11. Meet productivity standards while adhering to program requirements. 
12. Travel to various cities in order to support the needs of PATH participants

Clients Served/Referral Sources:

Youth ages 8-18 who may experience

1. Chronic absenteeism
2. Oppositional behavior
3. Early substance use
4. Other challenges linked to unmet behavioral health needs

Requirements:

1. Master's or Doctorate degree with a current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board, to include one of the following: Social Worker, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, or Mental Health Counselor Associate. 
2. A Master's degree and temporary permit in the areas listed in #1 with a license required within 90 days of employment. 
3. Organized
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Microsoft experience
6.  Valid transportation, driver's license, and car insurance
