HIRING BONUS
A hiring bonus of $500 will be paid on the first check, and an additional $4,500 will be paid upon successful completion of the EIRP period. This bonus is available exclusively for external candidates.

We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Behavioral Health Clinician IV. This role involves providing co-occurring counseling services for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
Please note that all applicants must undergo a pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, as well as a comprehensive background check and TB Test.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Conducts co-occurring patient assessments. Places patients in the appropriate level of care.
Conducts group, family, and individual counseling sessions. May conduct psycho-educational or family groups.
Works with co-occurring patients to develop and update treatment plans and goals.
Monitors patient behaviors and progress. Incorporates behavior modification and stress management therapy to assist patients in controlling substance misuse and other problems.
Administers and analyzes patient testing instruments and reviews results of tests to evaluate patient needs.
Provides patients with therapeutic projects, recreational therapy, or other activities.
Assures that all documentation is complete by established deadlines. Maintains patient records in accordance with licensing regulations. Regularly reports clinical status to the unit supervisor.
Participates in staffing patients with the appropriate team and communicates with community referral sources, including, but not limited to, probation, parole, and the DSS.
Crisis intervention and arranging for hospitalization as needed.
Coordinates and refers to supportive services in the community to supplement treatment and counseling. Assist patients in obtaining services to become self-sufficient and prevent relapses in a timely manner.
May be required to assist in urine/breath testing and monitoring.
Must travel to outlying sites to train and treat patients.
Maintain OTP caseload and conduct annual updates, including the Colorado Client Assessment Record (CCAR) and the Drug/Alcohol Coordinated Data System (DACODS).

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Minimum of a master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.
Licensure:
It requires licensure in LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
CAS is preferred, in addition to the license, and must be able to obtain CAS certification within 18 months of the hire date.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 (two) years working in the mental health field.
Previous substance misuse treatment experience and expertise with trauma preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
Other:
Must understand the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and SOAR level of care criteria.
Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
Computer skills are required.
CPR and first-aid certification (the agency pays for initial training and renewals).
Valid driver's license and insurability.
