Role: Residential Support Worker
Location: Northolt
Salary: £26,100 per annum (Plus £1775 London Allowance) Sleep In £50 per shift.
Contract – Permanent – Full Time – 37 hours a week. School Hours, School Holidays, and weekends. Sleep In shifts are available.

About the role
Haydock Short Breaks based in Northolt is a six bedded house providing short breaks to children and their families aged 8 to 18 years of age. The service supports children and young people who have various disabilities and complex needs. The aim is to ensure that they provide a fun and welcoming environment.

How you will help our Young People:
- Supporting children and young people in administration of medication and clinical procedures.
- Taking responsibility for the personal care and routines of the young people.
- Supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes, and you are responsible for the safeguarding of young people.
- Attending meetings/reviews with other care professionals to promote person centred care.
Let's talk about you.
- Experience of working with children and young people or care work (experience of working with children with disabilities would be an advantage).
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce Social Care Pathway or Residential Childcare or equivalent is desirable.
- A positive and confident approach to engaging with children and young people.
- Safeguarding knowledge.
- Be caring and compassionate, with excellent communication skills.
- A good standard of written English and the ability to make accurate records.
- Willingness to continue to develop through on-the-job training.
- Working off your own initiative, proactive and motivated.
