Job Title: Talent Partner, People Team

Location: Greenford (Hybrid – 3 days in the office)
Reports to: Head of People Experience
 

About the Role

As Brompton continues its journey of transformation, we’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Talent Partner to join our People Experience Team. This role is central to our mission of attracting, retaining, and growing exceptional talent across the business. With hiring volumes evolving, there will be strong focus on nurturing internal capability, identifying high-potential individuals, and ensuring our managers are equipped to lead effectively.

You’ll work closely with leaders across the business to embed a culture of performance, growth, and succession. This is a unique opportunity to shape how talent is experienced at Brompton - from acquisition through to development - and to play a key role in building a future-ready organisation.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Development & Retention

  • Drive talent mapping and succession planning across critical roles and functions
  • Build a skills-based organisation including identifying future capability needs and mapping them against current skills using skills intelligence to enable growth, transformation and strategic workforce planning
  • Work in collaboration with People Ops team to Partner with leaders to identify and support high-potential individuals through tailored development opportunities
  • Collaborate with L&D to ensure managers have the tools and skills to lead and grow their teams
  • Lead initiatives to develop and embed an internal talent marketplace – enabling visibility of opportunities, increasing mobility and unlocking growth across the organisation
  • Support performance management processes that enable growth, feedback, and accountability
  • Partner with leaders to build retention strategies that align with our purpose, culture and values

Talent Acquisition

  • Work in collaboration with People Ops team to Partner with leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver strategic hiring plans
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for key roles, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices that reflect our values and support diverse talent pipelines
  • Lead on employer brand and EVP initiatives, partnering closely with our brand team to ensure our employee value proposition is integrated across the employee lifecycle and connects meaningfully with Brompton’s external brand and purpose
  • Use data and insights to continuously improve recruitment effectiveness and efficiency as well as forecasting attrition, talent risks, pipelines and readiness
  • Stay at the forefront of recruitment trends, technologies, and strategies - including the use of innovative talent practices such as video-based storytelling, AI enhanced sourcing and other emerging tools that enhance experience with a focus on continually reducing bias

Strategic Partnering & Workforce Planning

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on all things talent, bringing insight and challenge
  • Work in collaboration with Finance and Operations on headcount forecasting and strategic workforce planning
  • Use data to inform decision-making and measure impact across talent initiatives
  • Contribute to the evolution of our People Experience strategy, ensuring talent is at the heart of transformation

  • Flexible working
  • 9 Day Fortnight – This is a flexible working pattern which individuals can opt in for where an employee works their contractual hours across 9 days instead of 10 days. (i.e. 80 hours across 9 days instead of 10 days). This mean the individual would work an additional hour across Monday to Thursday (across the 2 week period) to gain their Friday off.
