Key Responsibilities
- Accounting: Timely posting of all accounts receivable transactions and reconciliation of general and sub-ledgers
- Subscription Management / Master Data Maintenance: Administration and maintenance of contract data in the SaaS environment, including correct mapping of subscription agreements
- Invoicing: Ensuring timely and complete invoicing of services rendered
- Revenue Recognition: Accounting of revenue, particularly in the area of subscription contracts
- Dunning: Independent execution of the dunning process in close collaboration with Sales and other teams
- Process Optimization: Further development of existing processes and systems, especially in billing, O2C, and CRM integration
- ERP Implementation: Active participation in the implementation of a new ERP system and optimization of existing processes
- Reporting: Preparation of reports and analyses on accounts receivable topics for internal and external stakeholders
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A commercial education background
- At least 3–5 years of professional experience in accounts receivable, in a SaaS environment, or as a Finance Business Partner for Sales
- Experience in the implementation and optimization of ERP systems as well as in sub-ledger and subscription management
- Experience in integrating and optimizing CRM systems within financial processes (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Experience in standardizing and digitalizing accounting processes
- Proficient in Excel, DATEV, Oracle NetSuite (preferred), and CRM systems
- Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and tax law; additional knowledge of US GAAP (including SOX) or IFRS is a plus
- Fluency in English (C1) in spoken and written form; good German skills are an advantage
