Accounts Payable Analyst chez Blackmores Group Ltd

We are hiring for a fixed term Accounts Payable Analyst role.

This role is responsible for performing the full Accounts Payable function for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accurate entry of all invoices—including supplier, credit card, and cash expenses—to support reliable management reporting. This role ensures suppliers are paid on time according to agreed terms and statements, maintains compliance with all relevant taxation requirements (GST and FBT), and consistently delivers superior customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

This role will report to the Group Accounts Payable Manager. This role can be based in either of our NSW work sites – Warriewood or Surry Hills. This role is temporary cover until December 2026.

Responsibilities include:

• Invoice Management & OCR System Support: Oversee invoice processing using ABBYY OCR and JDE workflow; act as the super user and liaison with IT to resolve system issues promptly.

• Invoice Validation & Payment Processing: Ensure invoices are correctly coded, approved, matched to purchase orders, and processed for payment, including EFT and cheque runs.

• Supplier Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements and ensure timely and accurate payments in line with company or agreed terms.

• Accounts Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform monthly reconciliations of AP ledger, GRNI, logged vouchers, and FX calculations for Australia & New Zealand.

• Credit Card & Expense Administration: Manage employee credit cards and expense claims via Flexipurchase, including setup, maintenance, uploads, and policy compliance.

• Vendor Management: Maintain supplier master data, handle vendor queries, and ensure compliance with tax and approval requirements.

• System & Process Compliance: Maintain delegated authority levels, approval matrices, and collaborate with HR to improve system efficiency.

• Team Support & Continuous Improvement: Provide training, support internal stakeholders, and contribute to process enhancements and team objectives.

Who are you?

• Accounts Payable Experience: Prior hands-on experience in AP processes, including invoice handling and working within a paperless AP workflow system.

• ERP System Knowledge: Familiarity with JDE and Manage 2K ERP for transaction processing and reporting.

• Credit Card & Expense Management: Experience using Flexipurchase for managing corporate credit cards and employee expenses.

• Tax Compliance: Working knowledge of GST and FBT administration and compliance.

• Data Entry & Accuracy: Ability to manage high volumes of data entry with strong attention to detail.

• Microsoft Office Proficiency: Competent in Word, Outlook, and Excel (moderate level) for reporting and reconciliation tasks.

• Account & Vendor Management: Experience in managing supplier accounts and resolving queries professionally.

• Strong Computer Literacy: Ability to navigate and utilize business systems effectively for processing and reporting.
