A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Manager Procurement Partnering reporting to the Executive Manager Procurement.
A bit about your role
As the Senior Manager Procurement Partnering, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering enterprise-wide procurement strategies that support nbn’s long-term business goals. Reporting to the Executive Manager Procurement, this role is designed to go beyond traditional sourcing and drive transformational outcomes across the network services category. You will lead the development of multi-year category strategies, drawing on market intelligence, supplier innovation, and advanced analytics to deliver sustainable value.
Your work will be deeply collaborative, engaging cross-functional teams early in the planning cycle to ensure procurement is seamlessly integrated with engineering, finance, and operations. You’ll influence enterprise-wide sourcing decisions through robust business case development and scenario modelling, and communicate complex strategies with clarity and impact to senior stakeholders. This role is about fostering strategic partnerships, championing continuous improvement, and delivering measurable commercial and sustainability outcomes that align with nbn’s purpose and values.
A bit about you
You are a strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for purposeful procurement. With at least seven years’ experience in procurement or supply chain functions, you bring deep expertise in category strategy, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management. You are confident navigating complex supply contracts and support arrangements for highly engineered, business-critical equipment, ideally within telecommunications or similar industries.
Your communication style is clear and considered, and you tailor your messaging to diverse audiences with ease. You’re skilled in synthesising complex data and using evidence-based insights to inform decisions and drive outcomes. You thrive in collaborative environments, building strong relationships and aligning diverse interests to deliver shared success. With a degree in Commerce, Finance, Engineering, IT or a related field, you bring both technical and strategic capability to the role, and a mindset that embraces innovation, partnership, and long-term value creation.
