As a global leader in innovative medicines, Boehringer Ingelheim offers you the opportunity to join our dynamic and collaborative Corporate Brand team. This internship will give you hands-on experience in embedding our newly evolved brand across the organization— building trust, reinforcing its value, and enabling clarity of direction and confidence in execution. Just two years after its launch, the brand is gaining momentum, and you’ll play a key role in strengthening its presence to employees across internal platforms. 


You will gain an insight into the following topics and areas of activities:

 

  • Support the development of internal brand communication concepts
  • Contribute to the execution of internal communications across Microsoft 365 tools & platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Viva Engage, Teams, Outlook, Planner), based on an internal communication concept 
  • You will gain an insight in how to create engaging content using innovative formats such as video, interactive media, and storytelling 
  • Experience how to drive campaigning, adoption, and change communication to foster engagement and alignment across the organization 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is distributed across relevant channels and communities
  • Assist in measuring and reporting on communication effectiveness to support continuous improvement 


Your Profile: 

 

  • You’re a student in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field  
  • Passionate about internal communications, digital storytelling, and driving campaigning, adoption, and change communication  
  • Hands-on experience in planning and executing communication activities across digital platforms  
  • Creative mindset with experience in developing engaging content using digital tools and formats  
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating Microsoft 365 tools & platforms
  • Open to exploring AI tools to enhance communication impact  
  • A proactive team player with a strong willingness to learn, contribute, and grow  
  • Strong command of spoken and written English, with a natural ability to craft compelling written content. German is a plus. 


What we can offer you: 

 

  • As a student intern, you can expect a fair expense allowance (payment of the currently valid minimum wage)
  • You will be given 2.5 days of paid time off for every full month of the internship
  • A full-time internship is 37.5 hours a week (a smaller number of hours can be arranged)
  • In our team we also offer you a hybrid working model in which you can work remotely several days a week!
  • The duration of the internship is minimum 6 months. The start of the internship can be made several times a year. The earliest start date is currently January 15, 2026. Please enter the desired period in your application.
