As we continue to grow we are looking to add an Receptionist/Office Administrator to the Scandi Family! This is a contract position ending May 29th 2026.

What your day to day will look like:

Reporting into the Manager of Administrative Services this is a contract position working in the head office based in Edmonton. 

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:45am - 4:15pm with a 1-hour lunch (30 minutes paid and 30 minutes unpaid). 

  • Acting as first point of contact for clients and executives in a prompt manner maintaining a professional and friendly demeanour
  • Overseeing and managing email correspondence, calendar appointments, and scheduling and taking meeting minutes
  • Completing data entry by compiling, exporting and inputting data into simplified and visually appealing reports
  • Creating professional presentations to showcase reports to executives and clients

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of administrative experience, including reception
  • Previous experience operating a multi-line telephone
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills in English (French is an asset)
  • Previous experience in office and/or event management would be an asset
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity at all times
  • Excellent computer skills, skilful at Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with 8x8 or other VOIP systems
  • Strong communication, with polished and professional presentation
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing all tasks along with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks simultaneously.

Our interview process:

  • 20 minute preliminary phone interview with our Recruiter 
  • 40 minute to an hour assessment (soft skills and personality) 
  • 30 minute MS Teams video interview with the Hiring Manager and direct Supervisor for the role
