As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our management team in Augusta, GA. In this key leadership role, you will oversee critical HR functions and play a vital part in supporting our mission while driving a positive and compliant workplace culture.

 

As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including recruiting top talent, managing licensing and compliance requirements, fostering positive employee relations, and ensuring adherence to company policies and employment laws. You will serve as a trusted advisor to both leadership and staff, providing guidance on workforce planning, performance management, and employee development. With strong organizational and leadership skills, you will drive efficient HR processes, promote a culture of collaboration and accountability, and support business objectives. Most importantly, you will embody and uphold our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness in every aspect of your work, contributing to a respectful and high-performing workplace.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

Depending on experience, Securitas will offer a starting salary of $52,000, in addition to a full benefits package that includes:

 

  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance

  • 10 accrued vacation days, 4 person holidays, 6 sick days

  • 401K

 

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Lead recruitment efforts, with a focus on hourly roles and high-volume hiring.

  • Develop strategies to meet business needs and workforce planning requirements.

  • Oversee onboarding to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.

 

Licensing & Compliance Management

  • Manage state licensing requirements to ensure compliance and employee eligibility.

  • Coordinate with management to maintain proper credentialing and training for all employees.

 

Employee Relations

  • Provide coaching, counseling, and support to employees, addressing concerns proactively.

  • Foster a positive and compliant workplace environment.

  • Mediate disputes and resolve workplace conflicts while ensuring adherence to company policies and employment laws.

 

Organizational Skills & Administration

  • Maintain HR documentation, compliance records, and reporting with precision.

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

  • Support benefits administration, performance management, and related HR processes.

 

Leadership & Integrity

  • Uphold high ethical standards and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.

  • Lead and mentor a team of three HR professionals.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and engagement.

 

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • At least 3-4 years of HR experience, with a focus on high-volume recruiting and hourly employee relations.

 

Core Competencies

  • Proven experience in high-volume recruiting, particularly for hourly positions.

  • Expertise in employee relations, including coaching, conflict resolution, and counseling.

  • Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to integrity and ethical conduct.

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
