Serving the greater Rochester area since 1922, Rochester Hearing and Speech Center is one of the most experienced non-profit providers of hearing, speech-language, developmental and educational services for children ages newborn to five with unique needs.

Rochester Hearing and Speech Center has an immediate opening for a full or part-time Special Education Teacher interested in working with young children with special needs, specifically as part of an Early Intervention Developmental Group, with opportunities for provision of service in homes, daycares, and via teletherapy.

New graduates are welcome to apply; pediatric experience preferred.

• Annual salary range: $58,500 – $64,000 (commensurate with experience and schedule)

Requirements

 Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Special  Education
• Certification in Students with Disabilities (Birth–2) or Permanent Certification
• At least one year of experience with children ages birth to five preferred
• Interest in working with children with developmental disabilities is required
• Valid NYS driver’s license, automobile, and active auto insurance required
