Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Service Delivery: Works with Division Director, Residential and Program Supervisor La Entrada, La Paloma Operations Manager, LPG Lead-DSP to support the day-to-day operations at La Paloma and community sites.
- Coaching/Teaching/Supporting: Facilitates and provides training and support to direct support staff (DSP) to implement ISPs and teaching and support strategies (TSS), PBSPs and other programs according to each ISP, and to enhance each individual’s ability to be valued members of the community.
- Greenhouse Work/Vocational Instructor Work: Supervises Associate Employees in the production of greenhouse products.
- Greenhouse Housekeeping: Oversees the general cleaning of the work place.
- Collaboration/Communication: Collaborates with internal and external parties.
- Team Support: Works individually and as part of a team and perform all duties within the scope of the guidelines of the interdisciplinary team process.
- Recordkeeping: Documents individual’s ISPs and progress on required reports and documentation forms.
- Financial Management: Works with Division Directors maintain an annual budget for La Paloma Greenhouse.
- Orientation of New Staff: Completes new hire orientation for all new regular and substitute staff.
- Staff Supervision: Trains, supervises, evaluates and terminates department Associate staff in consultation with Division Directors and HR Director/department and in accordance with ARCA policies and EEO/AA/ADA/DOL regulations.
- Timesheets/Mileage: In the absence of the Residential and Program Supervisor La Entrada, reviews and submits accurate timesheets and mileage forms.
- Health and Safety Reports/Documentation: Reports all incidents of job-related work injuries/incidents or driving incidents using ARCA’s Accident Investigation system on SharePoint.
- Training: Completes required orientation training and on-going in-service training in accordance with ARCA policy on training.
- Health/Safety: Ensures and maintains a safe environment for Associate Employees at all times and investigates safety and risk concerns.
- Abuse/Neglect/Emergency Situations: Treats individuals served with dignity and respect at all times. As required by law, reports all suspected instances of abuse, neglect, exploitation, environmental hazard, suspicious injury and/or injury of unknown origin to the appropriate authorities in accordance with ARCA policies and procedures.
- HIPAA Compliance & Confidentiality: Has full access to Protected Health Information (PHI) to carry out job responsibilities in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ARCA policies and procedures on confidentiality.
Typical Physical, Environmental & Mental Demands:
Requires ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds. Requires the typical physical demands used in agricultural/horticultural activities (i.e. walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, bending, squatting and working outdoors during reasonably hot or cold conditions).
Minimum of two (2) years’ college study relevant to job duties, or two (2) years’ experience working with individuals with IDCD, or a combination of the above required.
Location: Corrales
Driving: Valid New Mexico Driver's License and a good driving record

Supervises: Associate Employees
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00am-3:00pm, may vary during seasonal events
