We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dispatcher to join our team in a unique position that combines ambulance and Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) dispatching. This is a night shift role where you’ll work closely with a small, highly experienced team. With only 1–2 staff on duty at night, this role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, is detail-oriented, and can handle responsibility with confidence.

• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM (36 hours/week, 3 shifts) Fixed Days
Job Summary
What You’ll Do•Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls from hospitals, patients, and healthcare providers.
•Coordinate ambulance and MIH services by dispatching appropriate personnel and resources.
•Accurately relay critical information, including patient details, locations, and call nature.
•Collaborate with and follow up with MIH team members to ensure continuity of care and proper communication.
•Input, track, and update mobile healthcare call data in real time.
•Monitor response times and follow up on exceptions.
•Maintain accurate dispatch logs and prepare reports for review.
•Serve as a liaison between facilities, providers, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications/diplomas preferred.
- Experience: 1–2 years in emergency dispatching, EMS, or a related field strongly preferred. MIH experience strongly preferred.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
- Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS, and communication tools.
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader team.
