Description
We are looking for an experienced, highly organized, and collaborative Administrative Manager to join our team. This position oversees the daily operations of the administrative department and plays a vital role in the organization.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a full-time position.
Please note: This is not a remote position.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, organize, and implement human resource responsibilities for the organization, ensuring company policy and practice aligning with EEO and legal compliance requirements.
- Maintain the human resource information system (HRIS).
- Recruit, onboard, and train new staff.
- Process employee terminations, benefits program, and COBRA.
- Oversee and can complete full accounting cycle: accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, audit, financial reporting, and presentation.
- Work in collaboration with Vadis’ IT contractor to maintain technology infrastructure including security and smooth operation of computer systems, network, software, and staff IT inquiries.
- Maintain company phone network.
- Oversee and can complete multiple payrolls; keeps up to date in tax and law changes.
- Manage the organization, coordination, and function of the Administrative Services department in support of programs.
- Evaluate and implement office procedures and systems for maximum efficiency.
- Organizationally plan and coordinate policies and procedures within the department as related to other departments.
- Perform other administrative duties as necessary, in coordination with the CEO.
- Participate in corporate planning.
- Other duties as assigned.
Pay and Benefits:
- This is a full-time exempt position with a starting salary of $6498.27 per month.
- Full salary range for this position is $6498.27 - $7082.40 per month.
- Medical/vision, dental, and life insurance coverage at no premium cost to employees. Dependent coverage available at employee cost.
- 403(b) retirement plan, with up to a 6% company match dependent on contributions. (Match available after one year of employment).
- Business mileage reimbursement is currently .60/mile.
- Vacation accrual begins at .027 per paid hour.
- Sick Leave accrues at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.

Requirements
- Ability to communicate, using tact and discretion, with the public, staff, and clients.
- Ability to work with and without supervision.
- Good knowledge of spelling, punctuation, rules of grammar and arithmetic.
- Knowledge of office best practices.
- Ability to maintain responsibility and confidentiality for a variety of activities without regular direction; maintain professional appearance and courteous attitude toward public and fellow employees.
- Staff management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with five years of accounting experience
- Human Resource certification a plus.
