Inventory Control Specialist ($18.63 - $20.83/hr.) chez Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.

Responsible for performing physical inventory counts. Determines accuracy of system data by validatig against location count.

• Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory items.
• Follows established cycle counting schedules and procedures.
• Accurately records count data and updates inventory systems.
• Identifies and investigates inventory discrepancies and variances.
• Collaborates with materials and inventory control teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintains high levels of accuracy in inventory records.
• Ensures all inventory adjustments are properly documented and authorized.
• Assists in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
• Maintains organized and up-to-date records of cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience Requirements:

• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs) material.
• Ability to perform occasional frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
• Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours)
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
