Project Management
- Collaborate with the Service Line Manager, Project Foreman, and other Expanse business units to coordinate and maintain external communication with clients.
- Hold regular meetings with the Project Foreman and Service Line Manager to review project control reporting, quality control, and administrative requirements.
- Assist the General Manager and Service Line Manager with implementing the Operational Management System and processes.
- Obtain all necessary project permits.
- Manage change orders, including soliciting, reviewing, and preparing them in coordination with the Project Foreman and Project Controls.
- Assist the Service Line Manager in preparing cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and related project expenses.
- Support proposal development by providing technical and cost information as required.
- Participate in pre-bid site assessments.
Project Controls
- Review Daily Field Tickets (DFTs).
- Prepare weekly client project status reports, as required.
- Manage and track project submittals.
- Develop and monitor Requests for Information (RFIs) and Change Order documents.
- Prepare subcontract documentation and submit it for General Manager approval.
- Oversee project close-out documentation, ensuring proper client submittals and archiving in the Expanse projects library.
- Host after-action review meetings and update the lessons learned log.
- Track payment milestones, subcontractor change orders, and owner change orders, as applicable.
Scheduling
- Update construction dates and job logs based on Project Foreman input, material delivery forecasts, and subcontractor schedules.
- Review DFTs and provide progress feedback to the Service Line Manager and General Manager.
Procurement
- Review and code vendor invoices and subcontractor payment applications for accuracy.
- Expedite material requisitions in coordination with the Project Foreman and supply chain.
- Review, track, and distribute purchase orders for suppliers, subcontractors, and rentals.
QA/QC
- Collect redline and as-built drawings from the site team and submit them to the client.
- Collect quality control (QC) documents from the site team and submit them to the client.
Safety
- Participate in incident investigations and reporting.
- Attend safety meetings and management engagements.
- Promote Expanse’s safety culture in client meetings.
COMPETENCIES / QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience
Experience: 5–10 years
Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, TEAMS, OneDrive, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Dependability and accountability
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to identify, report, and resolve problems creatively and constructively, with recommendations for process improvements
Other: Valid driver’s license
