Compensation

Minimum $112,000

Maximum $160,000

Responsibilities:

The Project Manager II (PM II) is a senior-level project leader responsible for driving medium to large-scale initiatives that are complex, cross-functional, and strategically significant. This role operates with a high degree of independence, applying advanced project management and change management practices to ensure projects deliver measurable outcomes. The PM II also mentors junior PMs, influences stakeholders, and plays a key role in building PMO maturity.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Project Leadership

·       Lead medium to large, cross-functional projects that are strategically significant

·       Partner with executives and senior leaders to define project goals, scope, and success metrics

·       Manage full project lifecycle including business case development, execution, and benefits realization

 

Risk, Issue, and Change Management

·       Anticipate, analyze, and resolve complex project risks, dependencies, and conflicts

·       Apply change management practices to ensure adoption and sustained results

·       Monitor benefits realization and long-term impact of project outcomes

 

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

·       Serve as primary liaison for executive sponsors and senior stakeholders

·       Provide regular, high-level updates to stakeholders

·       Build cross-departmental relationships to align projects with organizational strategy

 

PMO Standards and Organizational Maturity

·       Champion PMO methodologies and lead adoption of best practices across the organization

·       Mentor and coach PM I teammates fostering career development

·       Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO tools, templates, and reporting

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field (Master’s preferred)

·       5-8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years managing complex projects

·       Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and tools

·       Proven ability to influence and collaborate with executives and senior leaders

·       PMP certification required

·       PMI-ACP or Prosci Change Practitioner certification strongly preferred

Physical Considerations:

·       Must be able to effectively read, write, and listen as well as communicate verbally, electronically and in written form with employees, members, board members, vendors, and the general public as required.

·       May be asked to handle, move, and/or carry large boxes of supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

·       May require stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for limited periods of time.

·       May require sitting and standing for long periods of time.
