What is your mission?
As a Vibe/Acoustic Integration/Test Engineer Associate, you will plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.
What will you be working on?
You will synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. You will also review, evaluate and derive requirements for testability, develop and direct preparation and execution of procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. You will coordinate subsystems and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations and perform analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Last of all, you will write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems. The Vibe/Acoustic engineer will use a variety of instruments.
Who will you collaborate with?
Works under direction and conducts vibe/acoustic testing and verifications for the System Dynamics department under the ETLS Environmental Test Lab Services organization in Sunnyvale, California. Candidate must be able to work under direction and interface with a wide range inter-organizational customers including Engineering, Systems, Quality, Production, Manufacturing and Test.
Limited shift work and some travel will be required.
Basic Qualifications
• Basic understanding of test engineering
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired skills
• Mechanical test engineering, test support and planning
• Exposure to test development process, test execution, data analysis, anomaly resolution, satellite software test systems, and electrical ground test equipment.
• Exposure to Vibration/Acoustic testing using equipment such as vibration shakers, amplifiers, fixturing and control systems. Acoustic vaporizers, controllers, noise generators, and hydraulics.
• Secret level security clearance.
• Candidate must be able to work and interface with a wide range of inter-organizational customers including Engineering, Systems, Quality, Production, Manufacturing and Test
