Falmouth Middle School seeks an extended teacher substitute for a grade 6 Spanish classroom from approximately Sept 29, 2025 - October 21, 2025. We are looking for someone who is a collaborative team player, technologically savvy, and passionate about nurturing the academic, social, and emotional development of middle school students.

The duties of this position will include:

Teaching four sections of 6th grade Spanish daily
Coordinate with our other 6th grade Spanish teacher to maintain curriculum pacing
Maintaining accurate records on student data
Implement school’s Advisory programming as an advisor to a group of middle school students

Qualifications / Certifications / Experience / Degree Requirements

A valid Maine Department of Education teaching certificate with the World Language (440) endorsement is required (or the equivalent)
Experience working with middle school students is preferred
Approved background check (run by the district)

Qualifications:

Bachelors' degree required. Experience teaching middle school preferred. Maine certification (or eligibility) required.

Pay for properly certified candidate will be $165/day. This position does not include benefits.
