Facilities Assistant
Location: Preston (with regular travel to other offices)
Start Date: October/November
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (35 hours per week)
Reporting to: Facilities Manager
Please Note: This role involves travel 3 or 4 days a month to other offices. If you have your own vehicle, that’s ideal. If not, please ensure you research alternative transport options to confirm you can commute reliably.
About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive Facilities Assistant based in Preston to join our expanding team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and prefers not to be desk-bound all day.
The role offers a mix of administrative and practical responsibilities. You’ll use Microsoft Office to manage data, respond to emails, and maintain records, while also handling hands-on tasks such as restocking supplies, minor repairs,, moving furniture, and some maintenance and decorating using hand held power tools.
You’ll receive full training in systems, maintenance procedures, and health & safety—so prior facilities experience isn’t essential. What matters most is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
As our Facilities team grows, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our offices are safe, efficient, and well-maintained.
