Role Summary
The New Business Telesales Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of telesales executives focused on converting leads to new business opportunities and providing tailored security solutions to these customers over the phone. This role involves driving performance, coaching team members, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets through effective outbound calling strategies and lead conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of telesales executives to exceed KPIs and sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, 1:1s, and team meetings.
- Monitor call quality, conversion rates, and pipeline development.
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Implement outbound calling campaigns targeting new business prospects.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales operations to align messaging and lead generation efforts.
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve conversion rates and customer engagement.
- Coaching & Development
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to improve sales techniques, objection handling, and product knowledge.
- Support onboarding of new team members and ensure rapid ramp-up to productivity.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Track and report on team performance metrics, including call volumes, lead quality, and sales conversion.
- Use CRM and reporting tools to analyze trends and identify areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing to ensure lead to opportunity conversion and volume of opportunity targets are being met.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on customer insights.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all telesales activities comply with company policies, GDPR, and industry regulations.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in telesales or outbound sales (not mandatory).
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
