Description
The APAC Marketing team at Meltwater is a key growth engine for the business. The team focuses on demand generation to drive sales by working closely with regional sales leadership and global cross-functional teams to support Meltwater’s continued growth in the region.
- Develop marketing strategy, budget, and program calendar for ANZ.
- Act as a credible business partner to sales leadership, translating needs into tailored regional marketing.
- Demonstrate expertise in B2B and persona-based marketing, understanding buyer processes and personas.
- Execute integrated marketing programs, including account based marketing, trade shows, events, webinars and content.
- Initiate, formulate and implement a wide range of promotion and marketing activities for hosted and sponsored events, from speaker invitation to on site event management;
- Establish and maintain good relationships with chambers of commerce, associations, sales partners, suppliers and customers
- Collaborate programmatically with broader marketing teams to scale and succeed in the region.
- Keep sales informed about marketing activities, from global to local.
- Track performance, ROI, and set up measurement processes.
- Utilize insights for improved marketing planning and execution.
- 3-5 years experience in Field Marketing, account based marketing, event and marketing experience in a technology company.
- A solid understanding of the digital media landscape in ANZ.
- Demonstration of a metrics-driven approach and can show ROI by tracking results from activity against budget.
- Proven track-record of success in partnering with sales to generate pipeline.
- An effective team player who excels in fast-paced, high-growth environments and possesses strong skills in prioritization, adaptability, and problem-solving.
- A self-starter who possesses a growth mindset.
- A strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between formulating a business strategy, executing the marketing plan, and achieving established metrics.
- Experience in measuring and analysing data and developing recommendations based on analysis.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation software. Marketo/Salesforce experience a plus.
- The ability to legally work in the country of hire is required for this position.
