Job Purpose:
The Clinical Associate at Aspire Living & Learning plays a vital role in assessing the design of treatment and behavior plans, under the supervision of a licensed clinical provider. The Clinical Associate must work collaboratively with all members of the team to maximize progress for the individual receiving our service.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation and Training:
- Demonstrates the skills to work with a variety of individuals of varying ages and functioning level.
- Develops, oversees implementation of behavior or support plans.
- Assist the modeling and teaching of behavioral or mental health strategies necessary stakeholders (e.g., staff, providers) Conducts procedural integrity fidelity checks and provides feedback to staff.
Program Oversight:
- Conducts or oversees all required and applicable assessments.
- Develops plans based on current assessments.
- Monitors, verifies and documents Direct Therapists’ and DSPs’ adherence to plan implementation and the overall success of the plan.
- Create and implement a variety of data collection procedures including data entry and graphing in an accurate and timely manner.
Administrative Tasks:
- Completes all required documentation.
- Meets deadlines.
- Ensures relevant sections of electronic record is up to date and accurate.
Communication and Consultation:
- Effectively communicate in both verbal and written form with necessary stakeholders.
- Accepts feedback from supervisors to ensure the quality of program implementation.
- Communicates and collaborates with both internal and external team members and stakeholders.
- Maintains ethical and professional boundaries and guidelines.
- Works cooperatively and collaboratively with all necessary stakeholders.
- Cultivate a positive and productive workplace atmosphere to enhance team morale and productivity.
- Participate in and complete training sessions as delegated by management to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
- Conduct training as required and assigned.
- Perform any additional job responsibilities assigned by supervisors or team leaders to support the organization's smooth operation.
- Accept reassignment as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (e.g., Psychology, Special Education)
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Computer skills
- Must have satisfactory background checks
- Enrolled in coursework to pursue clinical licensure in a relevant field
- Must have satisfactory background checks
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
