Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst – Network Fees, Interchange, & Compliance to join our ever Worldpay for Platforms team and help us unleash the potential of every business.
What you’ll own as the Senior Business Analyst – Network Fees, Interchange, & Compliance
This role focuses on managing Payment Network interchange compliance and implementing mandates within our Platforms line of business. Responsibilities include analyzing data, optimizing processing platforms, and collaborating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of card network scheme fees, analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Tableau. Key duties involve gathering and summarizing Payment Network updates, translating compliance requirements, preparing reports, and communicating changes across the company. Effective communication, attention to detail, confidentiality, and project management abilities are essential.
Gather and analyze Payment Network bulletins, release documentation, and prepare interchange summaries for the line of business.
Prepare reports summarizing the results of research, analyses, and evaluation of any discrepancies
Translate new card compliance requirements and their impact to our business and customers.
Draft written communications for upcoming changes
Perform technical analysis to determine the present and future impact of interchange updates from the card Payment Networks
Collaborate with various lines of business across the company to implement and communicate interchange updates and changes impacting all platforms
Provide expertise to internal teams as well as customer-facing groups within the company
Work with internal teams to execute necessary changes to fee schedules and platform updates, including but not limited to documentation and summaries of each change.
Investigate, identify, and take action with internal development teams to remedy any issues regarding network fees/changes.
Monitors & performs financial impact analyses for interchange expense, downgrade remediation, and optimization opportunities.
Project management for other card network compliance-related initiatives
What you’ll bring
Strong understanding of card network scheme fees and interchange management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with motivation to find end-to-end solutions
Ability to meet tight deadlines in an evolving environment and sometimes shifting priorities
Willingness to take the initiative and continuously learn
Ability to create spreadsheets and demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and Tableau
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and customers
Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Communicate ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and 5+ years of industry experience.
